Davis, W. Va. - Mrs. Corena Alice Helmick, 69, died Monday at her home, here, after a long illness.

Born March 8, 1887, she was a member of Davis Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Her parents were the late Harrison and Sidney Varner.

Surviving are five sons, Roy Helmick, Norton; David Helmick, Baltimore; Fred Helmick, of New York State; John Helmick, Davis, and James Helmick, address unknown; four daughters, Mrs. Emma Newell of Kentucky; Mrs. Rosalie Hall and Mrs. Betty Farley, Baltimore; and Miss Leona Helmick, Davis; a step-son, Lee Helmick, Bayard; 25 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Helmick also leaves four brothers, Harley and Paul Varner, Davis; Omar and Willie of Pennsylvania, and Henry Varner ____; a sister, Mrs. Rose Roy, Elkins; four half brothers and a half sister.

Services will be held Friday in Job Mennonite Church.

Burial will take place in Job Cemetery.
