Parker "Soule" Turner, 83 passed away on February 23, 2012, in Tulsa, OK. He was born December 12, 1928 in West Monroe Louisiana to Jesse and Margo Turner.
Soule was an Army veteran serving most of his time in Germany during the occupation after WWII. After discharge, he graduated from LSU with a degree in Geology and spent his entire career working for Amoco.
After retiring, Soule became a Master Gardener, de- voting much of his time to creating and maintaining the Master Gardener website.
He is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Tracy and son-in-law Robert Anquoe.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28 at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Master Gardener's, 4116 E 15th Street, Tulsa, OK 74112 or St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, 5635 E 71st St, Tulsa, OK 74136.
