Mrs Margaret Ackley, who resided in Minonk for many years, but who of late years had made her home at Pontiac, died at the Livingston county home on Monday following a sickness of considerable length. The remains were brought to Minonk yesterday and funeral services were held at the Christian church, burial being made at the Minonk cemetery.
The deceased was the widow of the late Peter Ackley, who died in this city fourteen years ago, since which time Mrs. Ackley had resided at Pontiac.
Mrs Ackley was the last of her family to survive. Besides the husband, all of the children preceded her in death. They were Lawrence, William, Charles and Mrs Elizabeth Gamlin.
The deceased was a member of the Christian church and throughout her journey on Earth she was known as a zealous and earnest Christian woman.
