WALLACE V. MATHESON

Wallace V. Matheson, 81, died Wednesday, March 29, 1994.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 31 in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. James Peach, pastor of First Baptist Church of Vega, and the Rev. Ted Mercer of Grace Church in Anadarko, Okla., officiating. Arrangements were by Vega Funeral Home.

Mr. Matheson was born in Four Corners, Idaho and had lived in Vega 16 years. He married Bessie Lee Hammer in 1977 in Mexico. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Carlson Matheson of Wildorado, Gene Matheson of Memphis, Bobby Matheson of Amarillo and Jack Matheson of Texline; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
