Helen Thurman Pace, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, returned to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 20, 1993.
She was born in Provo, Utah, on November 6, 1921, to Leo Franklin and Agnes Mary Evert Thurman. She married Byron Lee Pace on October 25, 1940 in Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away on May 17, 1992.
She is survived by four daughters: Marilyn (Dean) Fullmer, Springville, Utah; Clara (Aman) Khan, Sterling, Virginia; Betty (Larry) Castleton, and Dorothy (Jon) Westover, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister and two brothers: Dorothy Beardsley of California; Max Thurman of Provo; and Melvin Thurman of Orem. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Burial was October 25, 1993.
