Burial with military honors will be at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery in Mannington, W.Va.
Mr. Orr died Feb. 25, 2012, in Fort Worth.
He was born July 12, 1929, in Chandler, Okla., to the late Ernest Millage and Mamie Strong Orr.
He retired from the U.S. Army after 30 years of service. He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Following his military retirement, he was employed by the city of Tyler as an engineering inspector and also retired from that position.
He was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church and lived in Tyler since 1978.
Mr. Orr was preceded in death by his daughter, Arlene Eugenia Dulin; and brother, Bobby Joe Orr.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Cain Orr of Tyler; son, Dane Allen Orr of Fort Worth; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Roger Thompson of Olton; son-in-law, Thad Dulin of Midland; and grandchildren Katelyn and Kirsten Orr and Morgan Dulin.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. Thursday at Marvin United Methodist Church chapel.
Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler is in charge of arraignments.
