Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 1997, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bell was a member of Rolling Roads Baptist Church. She graduated from Piedmont Hospital's School of Nursing in 1933. She had worked at Piedmont Hospital, Wesley Long Hospital, St. Leo's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Bell and brother, Vance Brown.
Survivors are daughters and sons-in-law, Julia Bell and Donald Simmons of Cleveland, Ga., Marjorie Bell and Larry King of Greensboro; sons and daughters-in-law, Sidney and Geri Bell of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Robert and Catherine Bell of Greensboro, Maurice Bell of Florence, S.C., David and Sharon Bell of Greensboro; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.
