Opal Irene Belding, 98, of Bull Shoals, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born to Everett and Eliza (Yakely) Caviness in Rudy, Arkansas on January 2, 1914. She was a housewife and lived most of her life in Marion County. She was a member of Summit Pentecostal Church of God

She is survived by sons: Lee Roy Belding of Harrison; Edwin Belding of Jordan, Arkansas; Doyle Belding of Mocksville, North Carolina; Dale Belding of Granbury, Texas; and Don Belding of Everton;
daughters: Louise Johnson of Everton; Lois Lingo of Swifton, Arkansas; Linda Harrington of Bull Shoals; and Nadine Holliday of Mountain Home;
sister, Lucille Dye of Mountain Home;
24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Vernon; her brother, Virgil Caviness; and sisters: Alma Mullins; Gladys Kelley; and Mildred Henderson; and five grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Belding will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at Summit Pentecostal Church of God with Bro. David Parramore officiating.
Interment will be at Locust Cemetery near Yellville.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Belding, Jay Belding, Randy Belding, Ricky Belding, James Parsons, Jason Smith, Lawrence Benson, Bryan Belding and Ricky Benson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Belding and Terry Hampton
