Dr. Russell Smith Coffindaffer, of Shinnston, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles (Ina) Jackson,of Saint Albans, He was born at Kincheloe, Harrison County, March 5, 1895,the son of Abraham and Josephine Carder Coffindaffer. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Boggess Coffindaffer; 1 daughter Mrs. Charles (Ina) Jackson; three grandsons, Charles Russell,Carney Brand, and Sidney Boggess Jackson. One brother, Ernest Wayne Coffindaffer, Clarksburg, one sister Mrs. Tilman Williams, of Bristol. Friends may call at the Harmer Funeral Home in Shinnston after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services at the First Baptist Church Shinnston, at 2:33 p.m. Wednesday conducted by the Reverend Dr Russell Prudy, former pastor of the First Baptist Church in Shinnston, and is now located in Washington,D.C. and Reverend. Earl Sidler, present pastor of the church. Interment will be in the Bridgeport Cem.
