Adam L. Chilson, 19, of 1471 Beebe Hill Road, Towanda, Pa., (Monroe Twp.) passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010.
Adam was born in Sayre, Pa., on April 14, 1991, the son of Peggy Edsell Chilson and the late Jeffrey L. Chilson. He was a graduate of Towanda Area High School class of 2009 and at the time of his passing was employed by Dave Griffith General Contracting.
Adam enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and will be fondly remembered for his easy going laid back personality and infectious smile. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by: his mother, Peggy Chilson at home; paternal grandparents, Robert L. and Bonnie Chilson of Towanda; numerous aunts, uncles cousins and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey L. Chilson on April 8, 2005; and maternal grandparents, George and Mary Edsell.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday evening at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Corners Cemetery, Monroe Twp., Pa. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be directed to the Bradford County Humane Society, P. O. Box 179 Ulster, PA 18850 in Adam's memory.
