Carl F. Albrecht, 50, of RD 2, Massillon, died early this morning in the Massillon city hospital. His death followed an illness of several months.
A life resident of the Massillon area, Mr. Albrecht had been employed as a car inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
Mr. Albrecht is survived by his widow, Mrs. Christina Albrecht; three daughters, Mrs. Rosamond McClead of Beach City, Mrs. Margery Hardesty of RD 4, Massillon and Miss Doris M. Albrecht, at home; three sons, Junior S. Albrecht of Akron, Pvt. Roland G. Albrecht with the US Army at Camp Polk, La., and Jackie Albrecht, at home; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Albrecht of Massillon; three sisters, Miss Marie Albrecht and Mrs. Robert Fetzer of Massillon and Mrs. Elmer Watts of Alliance; three brothers, George and John Albrecht of Massillon and Stanton Albrecht of Canton and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 3 pm at the Arnold-Lynch funeral home. The Rev. Otto R. Gerber, D.D., pastor of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Brookfield cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
