Gladys E Hain, (Puppy Nana ), 81, of Scituate, died Saturday, Feb. 25 at Southwood in Norwell. She was the loving wife of the late Harry J. Hain Jr. Daughter of the late Agnes and Clifford Olson of Boston, she was the loving mother of Sheila Marchand of Pembroke, Douglas Hain of Kingston, Victoria Cappadoro of Holden, Deborah Sawan of Westport, Bruce Hain of Abington, Margaret Donahue of Halifax, Harry J. Hain III of Hanover, Robert Hain of Norton and Michael Hain of Weymouth and the late David Hain, Paul Hain and Angel Hain. Loving mother-in-law to Kathy Hain of Abington, Leo Marchand of Pembroke, Elias Sawan of Norfork, James Donahue of Halifax, and Cynthia Hain of Norton and Jay Cappadoro of Hopedale. She was the beloved sister of Sonny Olson, Barbara Ambrosino, Donna Colomey and Carol Colomey, Edith Waite, Bill Ryan and Sheila Richards. She had 21 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren. She was also a loving Nanny to Louie and George and Johnny Arnos. Gladys attended school in Boston. She enjoyed going to bingo, going to the beach, and loved arts and crafts. Services by the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. Cremation will take place at the Vine Hills Crematory in Plymouth. A Mass, for family and friends, of Christian burial will take place at St. Marys of Hanover, Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Mount Benedict in West Roxbury at a later date.
