Barbara Elaine Duncan Brown, 50, of 209 Poplar St., died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at her residence.

A native of Gaffney, she was was the widow of Jimmy Dean Brown ( Name: Jimmy D Brown
Birth Date: 18 Apr 1947 )
and daughter of Oveda M. Duncan of Gaffney and the late Hampton H. Duncan. She was a former licensed practical nurse and a member of Elm Street Church of God.

Surviving are a daughter, Chastity Kennington of Beaufort; a son, James Chad Brown of Gaffney; three brothers, Henry Duncan, Ernest Duncan and Bobby Duncan, all of Gaffney; four sisters, Jean Humphries, Linda Driskill, Doris Destaffino and Kathy Ruppe, all of Gaffney; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Duncan and Richard Duncan.

A memorial service will be held today at 4 p.m. at Elm Street Church of God, conducted by the Rev. James Garner.

The family will receive friends any time at the residence, 209 Poplar St.
