MASON, Robert L. - Age 68, of Sun City West, AZ, formerly of Metamora and Mt.Morris (MI) passed away Thursday, April 1, 2004 in Arizona. A Funeral Service will be 11AM Wednesday April 7, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church of Mt.Morris, Pastor Betty Jamboa officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6, 2004 from 12Noon-3 and 5-9PM. Wednesday Robert will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Westland Cemetery, North Branch, MI. Robert was born December 6, 1935 in Mt. Morris, the son of Clifford and Emily (McInally) Mason. He was in the United States Army Reserves retiring after 27 years of service. Robert retired from A.C. Rochester after 38 years of service and had been a resident of Arizona for the past 16 years. His daughter, Dana M. Ward and her husband David; grandson Chase Mason Ward of Flushing survive him. Further survivors include: step-son, Stephen Mason and wife Joanne; step-grandchildren, Sean and Jonathan Mason, all of Texas; sisters, Mildred Jean McBride and husband Robert of Mt. Morris, Marilyn Mason of Flint and Karen Diehl and husband Donald of Northstreet; brother, John L. Mason and wife Karen of Clio; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
