He first married Mary Ann (Lami) Buckles on April 28, 1914, in Dubuque County, Iowa. Mary was born April 3, 1885, in Sharon, Walworth County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Sophia (Klein) Lami. She was the widow of Charles Walter Buckles (1878-1908) and they had twins, Paul and Pauline born in 1906. Mary died October 22, 1918, in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Mary's children from her first marriage were still living with Arthur in the 1920 Census.
Arthur then married Julia P. Olsen. Julia was born about 1889 in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. They had the following children:
1. Floyd Arthur Rosenstiel (1924-1997)
2. Paul J. Rosenstiel (1927-?)
3. John Henry "Jack" Rosenstiel, (1928-2003)
4. Harold Franklin Rosenstiel, (1930-1993)
Arthur died May 31, 1955 and Julia died in 1975.
