Funeral services were held Monday, September 27, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. from Sutphen Funeral Home for Alice L. Arnott, Pastor Dennis Neal officiating.
Pall bearers were Carroll Gray, Doyle Draper, Clark McKinley, Kenneth Blank, Paul Bennett, and Ray Eberly.
Flower bearers were Opal Gray, Ethel Scholey, and Izola Jenkins.
Music by recordings with selections, “Sweet Hour of Prayer” and “How Great Thou Art.”
Ruby Runyan was in charge of the register.
Interment and concluding services in the Villisca Cemetery.
Alice Lorraine Arnott was born in Taylor County, Iowa, June 30, 1906 and passed away September 24, 1971.
She was united in marriage to Ralph F. Arnott on December 23, 1923 in Corning, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Nettie Durham, four half brothers, John Delaney, George Delaney, Jess Delaney, and Jim Delaney.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph f. Arnott, one half sister, Mrs. Esther Ewart of Cody, Nebraska; one niece, Maxine E. Goodwin, Valentine, two nephews, Bill Ewart and Paul Ewart of Cody, Nebraska and several great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Arnott resided with her husband in the farm vocation all of her married life and worked at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home for six years.
She will be greatly missed by her husband and many friends and loved ones.
