Obituary: Baker, Robert Roy, age 71, passed away at Baptist Hospital 6:10 p.m., Sunday. The home is on Robert Huff Road. He was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, a retired teacher of the Knoxville city schools, a graduate of Maryville College. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Mary Baker; daughter Mrs. Andrew T. Geyer Jr., New York; sisters Mrs. Walter Cooper, Mrs. I. E. Broyles, Morristown; one grandchild Robert Geyer, New York, Services 2 p.m. Wednesday at Economy Church near Morristown, Rev W. E. Morton, Rev. W. E. Browning officiating. Interment in Jarnagin Cemetery. The body will lie in state at church one hour before service. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The body remains at Rose (Mortuary.)
