Arthur Eugene Carr
Of 1926 Eleventh avenue, for
fifteen years employed as an attendant
at the William F. Gable company
store, died at 4:47 o'clock this
morning at the Altoona Hospital.
He was admitted on Dec. 28 suffering
from a heart ailment. He was
born in Frederick, MD, fifty-seven
years ago. His wife, who was Miss
Della Smith, died a year ago.
Surviving is a son, Cleo Carr of York,
a brother, Augustus Carr of Philadelphia,
and a sister, Mrs. Esther Opher
of Philadelphia. He was a
member of the Bethel A.M.E.
church. He resided in Altoona for
the past twenty-three years.
