Rita J Dillon, 55, of Hillsdale, IL died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. Visitation will be from 2-5 PM Sunday at Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, Hillsdale. Memorials may be made to the East Oregon Chapel Church of God, or the Hillsdale United Methodist Church. Rita was born March 18, 1956 in Morrison, Illinois, the daughter of Stanley and Lillian (Stage) Verkruysse. She was first married to Allen Musch, to which her 5 daughters were born. She later married Jerry Dillon on January 24, 2009 in Hillsdale, IL. She had been a member of the East Oregon Chapel Church of God. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, camping and gardening. Spending time with her family was of greatest importance to Rita and she enjoyed helping others. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Dillon; father, Stanley Verkruysse, Erie; five daughters, Amanda (Matt) Jacinto, Oregon, IL, April (Chris) Foster, Mt Morris, IL Kim (Mitch) Raper, McDonough, GA, Jessica Musch, Mt Morris, IL, Britney (Tim) Keehler, Oregon, IL; three grandchildren, Michael Jacinto, Jersey Garcia, and Aiden Keehler; four siblings, Deb (Steve) Cooper, Lyndon, IL, Eula (Rick) Morrisey, Fulton, IL, Tina Conrad, Clinton, IA and Marty (Sherrie) Verkruysse, Springhill, IL.
