Regarding the Sample Cemetery
In regards to your requests for the Samples Cemetery in Itawamba Co., MS. This is not an easy to find cemetery, it is now on private property with no road to it, however, several years ago I talked with my father-in-laws uncle, who was a Pharr and at that time was the only person doing any upkeep to the Samples Cemetery. When trying to get directions to the cemetery, he told me not to bother, that the people didn't like others coming around much and that there was only stone markers on the graves; no engraved markers. That is the reason I have never went to photograph this cemetery. Just thought I would pass on the information. Lisa Moses
