Andrew Crevin Banks, age 67, of S. Winn Avenue in Irvine passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Central Baptist Hospital after a short illness. He was born August 7, 1944 in Letcher County and was the son of Charlena Creech Fields and the late Cecil Banks. He was a retired engineer with CSX Railroad and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran and had lived in Estill County most of his life.

Funeral services at the Defeated Creek Regular Baptist Church in Linefork, Kentucky by Bro. Elwood Cornett, Bro. Roger Fields & Bro. Keith Sands. Burial will be at the Frazier Cemetery. Friends may call at the Calvary Baptist Church in Irvine. There will also be visitation at the Defeated Creek Regular Baptist Church.
