ABBOTT John Alexander, 48, he died of a heart disease while awaiting a heart transplant. He passed away January 10, 1990 at Baptist Medical Center, he was born May 31, 1941 in Ardmore. He was self employed in plastic fabrication. He is a native of Oklahoma and a member of Western Hills Baptist Church. He was an active member of the ACBL Sooner Unit 167, he had attained Silver Life Master statis, he served as past president and long time board member of the ACBL, he was a former member and past officer of the BPOE of OKC. He is survived by his wife Sallie of the home; his mother, Edith Abbott of OKC; son, Eric Houston of the home; 3 daughters, Carie White, Sheri Ellis, Marci Scott all of OKC; brother, Dr. Eddie Mack Abbott of Tulsa; 6 grandchildren, Dara, Amanda, Tyler, Marsha, Laci and John Parker. He was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Ann Abbott. Services are 10am, Friday, Southern Hills Baptist Church.
