Jacqueline K. Allen, age 59, of Gladstone, Ill., passed away at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born on April 20, 1951 in Burlington, Ia., the daughter of Paul Dell and Betty Lou Lewis Allen. She was reared and educated in Henderson County, and attended Union High School. Jackie worked at JCPenney in Burlington for over 30 years. She enjoyed boating, and spending time with her family and friends. Jacqueline was a member of the Gladstone Methodist Church.
Surviving Jackie is her mother, Betty Allen of Oquawka, significant other and best friend Rex McKinney of Gladstone, Ill., one brother Michael Allen (Mary) of Lenexa, Ks., two nephews; Chris Allen (Valerie) of Kansas, Sean Allen (liz) of Kansas, two great nieces Isabella Allen of Kansas, and Grace Allen of Kansas. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, father, and sister.

Services: Cremation has been accorded.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka. Interment of her ashes will be at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for the Gladstone United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
