Mr. Fradenburgh was born Oct. 19, 1924, at Shevlin, Minnesota, to Floyd L. and Luella Mae Gordon Fradenburgh. He graduated from high school in Nevis, Minnesota, and received his Bachelor's Degree at Bemidji, Minnesota. He later received` his Master's Degree in science at the University of North Dakota, (Grandforks). He served in the Army Air Force during World War II as a radio operator aboard B-17s, and retired from the military in November of 1945 with the rank of Captain. He married Mary Ann McNamar, March 9, 1945, at Ardmore, Oklahoma. Mr. Fradenburgh taught school at Nevis, Minnesota, for five years and later worked at the I.N.E.L. at Arco from 1952 to 1960 on a project for the first nuclear submarine, Nautilus. He taught chemistry and physics for 24 years at Vallivue High School in Caldwell and also taught in the Sheet Metal Union apprenticeship program at Boise State University.
Mr. Fradenburgh is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of Caldwell; his children, Diane and her husband, Glenn Scott of Portland, Oregon, Ruth and her husband, Lynn Smith of Elk Mound, Wisconsin, Carol Fradenburgh of Caldwell, Thomas and his wife, Cindy Fradenburgh of Tempe, Arizona, and Gordon and his wife, Anna Fradenburgh of Caldwell; his father and step mother, Floyd L. and LaVada Fradenburgh of Park Rapids, Minnesota; eight sisters, Dorothy Stansell of Homedale, Darlene Warren of Crookston, Minnesota, Elaine Case of Burns, Oregon, Phyllis Hipster of El Cajon, California, Marilyn Graba of Grand Forks, N. Dakota, Norma Jean English of Spokane, Washington, Mary Ellen Nelson of Catlegar, British Columbia and Garil Stenbro of The Dalles, Oregon; and nine grandchildren.
