Born to parents Iram Kitchen and Eliza Reedy he married Emma Mausteller July 3, 1884 and had the following children: Stella Mae, Daniel Carl, Mary, and Florine. From the Morning Press obit: Elisha Kitchen, for years a farmer near Millville, died at 7:30 Saturday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Howard M. Johnson, in Cleveland Township, aged seventy-three years. He was a member of the Millville Grange and of the Lutheran church. Surviving are these children: Stella, Benton R.D.; Daniel, Bloomsburg R.D.; Mrs. Howard Johns, Catawissa R.D.; and Mrs. Dean Watts, Bloomsburg. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister, Norman, of Danville R.D; John, of Jerseytown R.D.; Mrs. J.W. Ande, Danville R.D.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, brief rites at 9:30 at the home and in New Columbia Church at 10:30. The body may be viewed this evening.
