CUMBERLAND – Lois B. Dreibelbiss, 84, formerly of Cambridge, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Beckett House, New Concord.
Born Sept. 5, 1914, in Noble County, she was formerly employed by Coney Island of Cambridge.
Surviving are three sons and one daughter-in-law, Edward and Wilma Welker of Cambridge, Jimmy Dreibelbiss of Frazeysburg, and Charles Dreibelbliss and his companion Debbie Riggs of Cambridge; two daughters and one son-in-law, Susie and Clint Spencer of Cambridge, and Linda Groves of Cambridge; one brother, Denzil (June) Hill of Newcomerstown; one sister, Irene Weaver of Cambridge; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Minnie Vandyne Hill; first husband, Barney Welker; second husband, Lionel "Spike" Dreiblbiss; one brother [son], Grover "Butch" Welker; and one sister, Lola Faye Appis.
Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at Tom and Farus Funeral Home, West Main Street, Cumberland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan 22, 1999, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ron Smith officiating. Burial will be in Ark Spring Cemetery.
