Mrs. Edward Showell died at her residence in Potter, Monday evening, March 6th, 1899. Mrs. Showell was taken very ill suddenly with paralysis, and lived but a short time after becoming sick. She is one of the old settlers here, and we all have known mother Showell. She was admired by all for her goodness, and was a mother worthy of closest imitation. She was buried at Round Prairie cemetery. The family has our most sincere sympathy.
