Mrs. Agnes Elizabeth Stoner, wife of James F. Stoner, died at her home, Newtown, Burnham, Sunday morning 6 o'clock, aged 50 years. The cause of her death was cancer and she was ill since last November 16.
Her maiden name was Miss Elizabeth McElrath. She leaves her husband, James F. Stoner, and two sons and three daughters; Mrs. Ritz (Minnie) Ruble, 304 Bratton Avenue; Mrs. Isaac (Frances) Gill, Burnham; Miss Martha Stoner at her parental home; James F. Stoner, West Water Street, Lewistown; Walter Stoner, Burnham.
The following two brothers and four sisters of the deceased are also living; Clayton McElrath and Henry McElrath, McAllisterville; Mrs. Elmer (Ella) Grose, Cuba Mills; Mrs. William (Gertrude) Hower, Oakland Mills; Mrs. Joseph (Laura) McNaughton, Thompsontown; Mrs. Nannie Beatzel, Vandyke.
The funeral service will be conducted at the late residence of the deceased, Newtown, Burnham, Tuesday afternoon, 2 o'clock. The burial will be made in the Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
