Her family and friends knew her as "Kikimo" and "Adubs."

Services in her honor are from 2 to 3 p.m., Feb. 15 at Kehl's Mortuary in Palmer. Pastor David Dahms will officiate at a memorial service from 4 to 5 p.m. at Lazy Mountain Bible Church off Clark-Wolverine Road.

Amber moved to Palmer with her family in 1993. Amber worked with her dad for a few years fireproofing. She loved getting her hands dirty. She had a passion for the things she did.

Amber was raised in the Baptist Church and had faith in the Lord.

Amber loved being outside and camping. She also loved scrapbooking.

Her family wrote: "Amber was the daughter of Robert and Sheila Whitaker, sister of Misty Whitaker Kastar and mother of Nevaeh and Olivia, and an aunt to Kai and Kadence Kastar."

Amber was a really loving person. She always put people first. She loved drawing pictures and she loved singing to her little girls. Amber was very close to her father, Robert, and her mother, Sheila, meant the world to her.

She loved spending time camping and working with her family. When Amber would walk into a room she would light it up. Like Amber would say to her family and her little girls, "I love you bigger than the sun." Amber will never be forgotten, but remembered.

"We love you Amber bigger than the sun."

Surviving are her daughters, Nevaeh and Olivia; parents, Robert and Shelia Whitaker; sister, Misty Whitaker Kastar; nephew, Kai Kastar; and niece, Kadence Kastar.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Geneva Wann, Gertrude and Robert Whitaker.
