Kenneth Arnold Anderson, age 53 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Monday, March 5, 2012, following a traffic accident in Farragut.


Ken was member of Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church and former Sunday school teacher at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. Ken was the owner of Consumer Marketing. He was born in Michigan, moved to Tennessee as a teenager, achieved Eagle Scout and graduated from Farragut High School in 1976. Ken was a 1980 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Business (Knoxville). He loved being outdoors walking and biking with his family. He also enjoyed daily walks with his dog, Toby (Ken was a "Dog Walkers of the Cove" member).


Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Ruth Anderson.


He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ann Anderson; daughter, Rebecca Porter and husband, First Lieutenant Caleb Porter (USAF); son, John Anderson; sister and brother-in-law of Elmira, MI, Carol and Dick Cook and their children, Linda, Cathy and Mike; brother and sister-in-law of Knoxville, Dr. Tom and Vicky Anderson and their children Amy (Matt), Melissa (Scott) and Matt; brother and sister-in-law of Chattanooga, Bob and Sharon Anderson and their children, Ellen Anderson, Rob (Courtney), Charles (Katherine Torrey) and Liz (Curt Cope); many cherished friends.


The family will receive friends 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Rev. Jim Barnes and Rev. Jim Dallery officiating.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church Missions, 12915 Kingston Pike, Farragut, TN 37934.
