Newnan Public Schols, then Georgia Tech. studied Mech. Eng. finished at Massachusetts Institute of Tech. in Boston in 1903. Member of A.T.O. Fraternity. Returned to Newnan to work with the R.D. Manufacturing Co. in 1904. Elected VP and General Manager in 1915 and held this position for many years. Served government in many roles including on the Board of Education. Director of Arnco Mills, Director of Manufactors National Bank, Newnan Country Club promoter, Director of the Newnan Hospital since its inauguration. Member of Central Baptist Church and on Board of Deacons. Mason, Shriner, Rotarian.
