IRA MILEY DIES; RETIRED MILLWRIGHT
Ira J. Miley, 80, formerly of Greenwood avenue, a retired millwright, died at 2:40 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 20) in University Hospital in Columbus where he had been a patient three weeks.

He was born June 27, 1890, in Noble County, a son of James and Harriett Miley.

Mr. Miley was employed at Armco Steel Corporation here 27 years, retiring in 1955 His widow, Emma Campbell Miley died May 25, 1946. He had moved to Browerston three months ago.

Surviving are a son, James W. Miley of Bowerston; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Ann) Galigher and Mrs. Julia Kelley, both of Browerston; a brother, Guy Miley of Sheridan street; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two sisters are deceased.

Friends may call at Bryan Funeral Home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Chester Imhausen officiating. Burial will be in New Concord Cemetery.
