Geanne Tomlin passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the age of eighty-nine in Downey, CA.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur; two sons, Aubrey and Michael; daughter, Doretta; three granddaughters, Denise, Michelle, and Lisa; one grandson and two great-granddaughters; as well as her friend, Elizabeth Wixler. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth.
She was born July 4, 1922 in Huntsville, Arkansas. She retired from the Long Beach Unified School District working in the cafeteria at Cecil B. De Mille Middle School. She was a member of the Ladies of the Lakewood Elk's Lodge #1570, where her husband is a member.
Funeral services will be held at Whites Funeral Home in Bellflower on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., with interment following at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
There will be a reception held following the interment at Lakewood Elk's Lodge #1570, 12507 East Carson Street, Hawaiian Gardens.
