HAYESV1LLE - Joint services for Patti Beth Bracken, 18, and her sister, Pamela Ann Bracken, 5, who were fatally injured Thursday will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sweetwater Methodist Church, of which Patti Beth was a member. Pamela Ann attended the church. The Rev. Carol Lindsey will officiate. Burials will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brent Carter, Riley and Bob Dickerson, Bill Martin, Phil Denton, Gary Berrong, Robert Eller, Dwight McNabb, and James Bradshaw.
Patti Beth was a graduate of Hayesville High School and was a freshman in Young Harris College at Young Harris, Ga. Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Zed Bracken of Hayesville; two sisters, Kathy and Jennie Bracken, both of the home; four brothers. Ronnie of the U. S. Air Force, Eglin AFB, Fla., Cary, Ricky and Johnny Bracken, all of the home; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Bracken and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben H. Brown, all of Hayesville.
The bodies will remain at Ivie Funeral Home until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services.
