Obituary from the Weston Democrat Friday May 8, 1931: Dr. William Henry Greene died at his home here Saturday. Born January 5, 1878, son of William Henry Greene and Mary Griffin Greene of Roanoke. Age 53. Married November 16, 1909 to Miss Beatrice Murray. Besides wife, survived by children, Marie Greene, student; William, Geraldine, Charles, Lucille and John Thomas Greene; two brothers, M. A. Greene, Wheeling and John Greene, Weston; two sisters, Mrs. M. E. Hennessey of White Sulphur Springs, and Miss B. Agnes Greene of Baltimore, MD. Services Tuesday, interment Machpelah Cemetery.

Correction on the Weston Democrat Friday May 15, 1931: Name of one daughter was omitted, Miss Irene Greene.
