Roy A. Underwood, 69, of Bedford, died unexpectedly at 8:10 AM Friday, July 29, 1994, in Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born April 20, 1925, in Washington County, he married Jeanne Yvonne Condiff, who died in 1982.
Mr. Underwood was a retired fireman. He was a member of the Christian Church. He served in the Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lois Crane of Bloomington and Martha Evalou Mulligan of Monticello; a son, John Underwood of Lafayette; and a sister, Christina Younce of Muncie.
