Carlyle Blackwell , age 74 died Thursday, March 1 at his residece where he resided with his wife Paulette Baham Abel. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School, Served 6 years in the Coast Guard, and was a member of the Internaional Brotherhood of Electricial Worker Local Union 903 for 50 years. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Miss. F. & A. M.
Preceeded in Death by his Parents Carlyle Blackwell Abel Sr.& Nora Mae Abel.
He has four daughter, Tammy Lawrence and Stacy DuLong of Mississippi and Vicky Lucci and Jamie Redmond of Fla. And one son Shannon Abel of Fla.,Two Stepchildren Sidney Allen Smith of Oxford, N. J. and Lisa Anderson of The Woodlands, Tx.
He has 7 Grandchildren and 5 step Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Two sisters, Elaine Clark of Pensacola, Fla. and Nancy Aeschliman of Gulfport, Ms.
Bradford O'Keefe funeral home will be in charge of the graveside memorial on Sat., March 10 at 2:00 P.M.
