Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Tulare Cemetery for Gladys Minyard, 69, Tulare, who died Thursday at a Tulare hospital.
Visitiation will be until 8 tonight, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Tulare and was a life-long resident, attending Tulare schools. She married Ray Minyard in Tulare in 1944. She was a maternity nurse at East Tulare Maternity Hospital until it closed, then started working a the new Tulare District Hospital when it opened. She retired after 35 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Pam Calvillo and Nancy Dowd, both of Tulare; one brother, Alfred Hickman, Tulare; and six grandchildren.
