Raymond Edgar Cauthon, age 76, of Webbers Falls, OK passed away March 7, 2012, at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. He was born on February 18, 1936, in Webbers Falls to James William Woody and Eva Mae (Burr) Cauthon. Raymond served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Raymond earned his living as a mechanic, working on cars and later working on heavy equipment. He enjoyed working on things and if it had an engine, he could repair it. Raymond also enjoyed woodworking, boating and fishing. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Eva Marie Sims; two brothers, Ellis Cauthon and Gary Wayne Harper; and his sister, Pearlie Ann Moore. He is lovingly survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Barbara of the home in Webbers Falls, OK; children, Raymond Cauthon Jr. of CA, Brian and wife Misty of Webbers Falls, Cheryl Cauthon of CA, Raymond G. Cauthon of CA, and Matthew Cauthon and wife Candace of Gore, OK; three brothers, Charley Cauthon and wife Dorothy of Muskogee, Thomas Cauthon and wife Lou of Whitefield, and Bobby Cauthon and wife Lou of Muskogee; brother-in- law, Allen Weaver; 21 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; his dog, Brandy; two grand dogs, Lilly and Daisey; and a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones. A graveside service for Raymond will be 1:00 p.m. Monday March 12, 2012, at Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls. Services are entrusted to Bradley Funeral Service of Muskogee.
