Mrs. Mary J. Buckner died at 5:30 Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Alice Kinney in this city from the effects of a complication of diseases, in the seventy-third year of her age. She was the widow of Wm. Buckner, deceased, and had been married twice, the first time to Samuel Brumett. One brother survives her, D. L. Demaree of Bloomington. The funeral services were held yesterday morning at 10:00 from the home of W. S. Young, conducted by Roy B. Tyler, of the Presbyterian church, which she was a member. The remains were interred at Hopewell.
