Dianne Marie Cohee of Neodesha, Kansas, died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. She was 62.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Richards will officiate.
The daughter of John O. and Frances M. (Kirby) Howard, she was born February 3, 1945, in Oakland, CA. She graduated from Alameda High School in 1963 and received an associate's degree in accounting from Santa Rosa Junior College in 1965.
She was united in marriage to Charles Loren Cohee Jr. on July 5, 1967, in Berkeley, CA. He survives at the home.
Mrs. Cohee was employed as an accountant for Del Monte in San Francisco, CA, for 17 years before moving with her husband to Neodesha in 1980. While in Neodesha, she was employed as the controller for Evergreen and SCA Inc. for 25 years until the time of her death.
She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 5962 in Neodesha.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Frances Howard of Neodesha; a step-son, Don Cohee of West Valley, UT; a step-daughter, Judi Scott of West Valley, UT; a sister, Robin Garcia of Tracy, CA; four step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father.
