Anna M. Gaborek
Centralia native enjoyed her flower garden
Anna M. Gaborek, 86, of 1202 Numidia Drive, Numidia, passed away Wednesday morning, March 7, 2012, at Balanced Care, Bloomsburg, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Centralia on March 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Toczylousky Danuinas.
She was a graduate of the former Locust Township High School, Class of 1942, and enjoyed working in her flower garden and cutting her grass. She was a very loving and caring person, always giving special attention to her mother, husband and her grandchildren.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Roaring Creek.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, October 2004; a sister, Mary Lindemuth; also, brothers: Joseph Danuinas and Albert Toczylousky.
Survivors include a daughter, Debi, wife of Scott Bell, Numidia; sister, Teresa Skomski, Livonia, Mich.; sisters-in-law: Stella Danuinas, Harrisburg; Emily, wife of Jerry Wanzie, Numidia; Mary Leonard, Boston, Mass.; granddaughters: Erin, wife of Dave Runge, Bloomsburg; and Lindsey Bell, Numidia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Roaring Creek. Celebrant will be the Rev. Thomas Mannion, pastor. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Visitation will be held in the church starting at 9:30 a.m. until Mass.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements.
