Lil' Cow was born on February 6, 2006. Lil' Cow was my pet goat. I always called her Lil' Cow because she looked like a calf, the name stuck, even though it was a bit odd. She came to us a very sick little girl, along with her sister who was also ill and an undernourished mother. After many visits and many calls to the vet, Lil' Cow was not responding to any of the treatments like her sister did and was not growing. The vets didn't know what else to do, so we were starting to think it was time to let her go.

Lil' Cow passed away in my husband's arms on April 24, 2006. We will never forget her. Even though she was sick, she still managed to run to us when she saw us and would nuzzle our legs...she liked to be held. I took her to her last vet appointment wrapped up in her pink blanket. She was buried in the yard under a big Poplar Tree with that blanket.
