A Well Known and Popular Aspen Lady Passes Away
Mrs. Metta Burns, wife of Hugh Burnes of 113 East Cooper avenue, died at noon yesterday after an illness of only a few weeks. Pneumonia was the cause of Mrs. Burn’s demise, and her death had been momentarily expected for several days. The lady leaves a large circle of friends, among whom she was a great favorite. She was 39 years of age. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the family residence at 3 o’clock. In addition to her husband, two bright little daughters survive Mrs. Burns.
