Earl was born the son of George Debnon Sipes and Dealie Ethyl (Sexton) Sipes in the town of Bennington, Oklahoma. Earl was married to Katherine (Cape) Sipes. There were no children born of this marriage. Earl never had children of his own, but he was loved by the many nephews and neices that he did have. Earl worked hard in the oilfields and was stricken with lung cancer. Earl fought a brave fight against this dreadful desease and ultimately lost the battle at the young age of 47 years. He is terribly missed by those who loved him. Earl was always whistling a happy tune and loved fishing & hunting.
