Born in Tutwiler, Tallahatchie County, Mississippi to Louis Robinette and Addie (nee Lacy) Fisher.

He recieved his BA from Florida Southern University, and his Masters from the University of Florida.
Louis married Ruth V. Bryant in 1936, at Brooksville, FL.

His first job after moving to Hernando County, was as a clerk for Mr. Pat Murphy at Murphy Drugs. He would later hold positions as Teacher, Coach, Principal, and School Superintendent in the Hernando County Schools System. He finished his career with the Hillsborough County Schools System.

Louis answered his country's call in 1942, serving in the US Army, (European Theater) WWII. In addition to being a devoted son, brother, husband, friend, and father; he was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer. He was also a huge football, baseball, and basketball fan... especially of the Florida Gator's.
