Deceased Name: LEONARD L. SOBOTKA
Leonard L. Sobotka, 61, of Poseyville, Ind., died Friday at home after a long illness.
A native of Liverpool, Mr. Sobotka served 21 years in the U.S. Army before retiring in 1972 as a 1st sergeant. He was a self-employed roofer and sider.
Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Carp; two sons, Leonard Jr. of Evansville, Ind., and Daniel of Camden; three daughters, Deborah Shaw of Auburn, Diane of Haubstadt, Ind., and Lorraine of Poseyville, Ind.; a brother, John of Deltona, Fla; two sisters, Helen Beach of Deltona, Fla., and Frances Sessions, Brewerton; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from Watson Funeral Home and 11 a.m. from St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square.
Friends may call Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, 206 S. Main St., Central Square.
