A VICTIM OF TYPHOID.
MRS.SEBREE OF EAST IOLA SUCCUMBS TODAY.
Mrs. Mary E. Sebree died this morning about eight o'clock at her home at 221 South Tennessee Street of typhoid fever. The remains will be shipped tomorrow evening on the Missouri Pacific to Seymour County, Mo. for burial. Mrs. Sebree was about 35 years of age and leaves several children. She was ill about three weeks. Funeral services will occur at Seymour.

Mary Elizziebeth "Lizzie" is the daughter of Isaac Whitworth and Martha Ann Lee Whitworth. She was born the sixth of nine children. She married Samuel Joseph Sebree, June 19, 1892 in Douglas County, Missouri. Mary and Sam were blessed with six children. A child died at the age of four. She was visiting her sister in Iola, Kansas when she became ill and passed away. They shipped her body back to Douglas County, Missouri on the train. Mary left behind several small children who were raised by other memebers of the faimily. She was greatly missed!
