Ellen E. Davis, a retired farmer, rancher and dairy operator for many years, died Thursday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Davis was born in Frost. She was a former resident of Briar for 43 years and was a member of Briar Church of Christ. She was a 1937 graduate of Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth.
Survivors: Husband of 52 years, Alfred Davis of Azle; two sons, Roger Davis and Donald Davis, both of Briar; sister, Vera Robinson of Briar; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
