Our beloved Warren Walker Clark left this earth unexpectedly on June 8, 2010, the birthday of his loving son Bradley, to join the love of his life and wife of 64 years Ruth Lawrence Clark who preceded him to Heaven on September 13, 2007.
Warren was born the eldest of eight siblings in Alco, Arkansas on May 3, 1922. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the LISS Anzio (CVE-57) (EXCoral Sea).
Ruthie and Warren moved to San Diego in 1944, completing an exemplary 35 year career in Federal Civil Service at NARF North Island as a QA Inspector.
He was predeceased by his parents Walker and Lou Clark and three brothers Fount, JD and Jimmy Clark. He is survived by daughter Sharon McIntosh (Michael), son Bradley Clark (Kathy), four grandchildren and five great-grand-children. Viewing 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, with Memorial Service at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010, both at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Ave., San Diego, CA.
